The choreographies for songs are taught in 2-3 lessons before moving on to the next one. Through various exercises and drills, we also work on building Samba speed and fitness and incorporating more "Ginga" (vibe/swing) into your Samba to make it easier and more enjoyable. Level 4 Samba Advanced classes are designed to equip you with the skills you need to perform at the highest level of Samba no pé schools in Rio de Janeiro. The course focuses on developing essential techniques starting from linear to rotation, adding speed and fitness techniques, changing Samba variations, caminhadas (walks), arms, and footwork, as well as Passista styling. Our course emphasizes musicality, swing, and learning to dance Samba and freestyle based on different rhythms (Pagode, Bateria, Enredo, etc.). The courses in this series prepare dancers for semi-professional dance work.
