  • Brazilian Samba no pé (Introduction)

    Samba no pé is one of the most popular dances at carnivals in Rio de Janeiro. This is a basic introductory class to Samba no pé. From basic footwork and techniques, students will learn the foundations of samba. This training is ideal for you if you are an absolute beginner or want to refresh your basic Samba skills. You don't need any previous dance experience to attend this course. *No experience is required.* *Technique based class* *This class can be taken by recurring students as a back-to-basics drills class. Basic is the most significant aspect of a niche like this!*

  • Coreografia de samba

    Students learn basic choreographies of different sub-genres of samba, such as bossa nova, pagode, and Brazilian rock. The choreographies for songs are taught in 2-3 lessons before moving on to the next one. This class is designed to teach students how different techniques learned in our samba no pe technique classes apply to music. The class is open to all levels.

    A Brazilian dance known as Brazilian Funk also known as Funk Carioca was popularized in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Afrocentric rhythms will challenge your speed, coordination, and sexiness in this open class.   • Funk Brasileiro fit

    Using Brazilian funk fitness techniques, twerking exercises, and basic passinho movements, students will train specific muscle groups to improve their speed, agility, and hip mobility in 30 minutes! *Open level.*

  • Ballet (Adults)

    The class is suitable for adults with no prior ballet experience. This course is meant for adult ballet students who are interested in learning the basics of dance. Students focus on barre and center basics at a slow pace in this class. Technique and movement vocabulary are developed through repetition. The steps & exercises include: plie, battement tendu, retire passe, releve, grand battement, center port de bras, balance / waltz, and sautées. *Beginner ballet class* *Technique based class* *NO experience is necessary*

  • Brazilian Samba no pé (Intermediate)

    Taking our level 3 Samba Intermediate course is the next step up from our level 2 Samba Beginners course. You will improve your rotation technique, learn Samba travel variations and have the opportunity to expand your range of body movement, hip placement, arms placement, and footwork transitions. Through various exercises and drills, we also work on building Samba speed and fitness and incorporating more "Ginga" (vibe/swing) into your Samba to make it easier and more enjoyable. In this course, dancers are prepared for Advanced Samba by building on their knowledge from the Samba Beginners. *Knowledge & basic techniques of Samba REQUIRED* *Technique based class*

  • Fihas/Filhos do Samba

    This class focuses on the dancer's relationship with the Bateria. In this musicality-based class, students will learn percussion-based bossas and paradinhas. Through this, one develops knowledge of how to move to the Bateria's music. It is a high-tempo Samba class that requires a higher degree of understanding.

  • Brazilian Samba No Pé (Advanced)

    Level 4 Samba Advanced classes are designed to equip you with the skills you need to perform at the highest level of Samba no pé schools in Rio de Janeiro. The course focuses on developing essential techniques starting from linear to rotation, adding speed and fitness techniques, changing Samba variations, caminhadas (walks), arms, and footwork, as well as Passista styling. Our course emphasizes musicality, swing, and learning to dance Samba and freestyle based on different rhythms (Pagode, Bateria, Enredo, etc.). The courses in this series prepare dancers for semi-professional dance work.   • Ballet (Adolescents) - T2 2024

    Adolescent Ballet classes are suitable for young adults with or without prior ballet training. Non-syllabus-based open ballet classes for adolescents provide progressive training in Classical Ballet. Students will learn the fundamentals of classical ballet technique, which improves posture and enhances coordination.

  • Contemporary (Junior) - T2 2024

    Students learn the rudimentary movements needed for contemporary dance in this class, which is designed for beginners. Students will explore contractions, spirals, basic floor work, and the ideas of space, time, and force.
