Taking the next step up from Samba Introduction is our level 2 Samba Beginners course. You will improve your basic Samba skills and expand your range of body movement during this course. Our training builds on the Samba foundation by concentrating on hip isolations, easy traveling steps, caminhadas (walks), and transitions. A classic dance technique element is also incorporated in order to help you transition smoothly from step to step, focusing on weight placement and managing your movements smoothly. ​ *For anyone with basic knowledge of Samba and who wants to brush up on their skills.* *Technique based class* *This class can be taken by recurring students as a back-to-basics drills class. Basic is the most significant aspect of a niche like this! *

Cancellation Policy

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION OF CLASSES: We have a strict late arrival policy at Movement Artistry. Please make sure to familiarise yourself with our policies, to avoid disappointment. -Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of your class. - We have the right to release your spot to students on the waitlist already present at the studio if you do not show up at least 15 minutes before the start of class. Your booking will be considered a NO SHOW and NO refund will be issued. - Please note that in the event you are the only student who booked in, we will close the class should you arrive after 15 minutes into the start of class. In this case, the class will be considered a NO SHOW and NO refund will be issued. - For rescheduling by drop-in, please contact us 12 hours prior to your class.  - For rescheduling by class bundles, please log in to reschedule 12 hours prior to your class. - Under 6 hours' notice of the start of the class, rescheduling is not permitted and NO refund will be given (except in cases of emergency).  - Course fees and block payments for class bundles are non-refundable once the first class has been attended. - Our junior classes REQUIRE you to notify the instructor or studio at least 12 hours in advance that you are not able to attend. If you fail to show up for three strikes without informing us, an additional $30 fee will be applied each time thereafter.  - The booking period for all classes closes 6 hours before class time. - Make sure you reschedule or book your next class according to your availability. - Classes that are canceled will not be considered booked for the following session. A new booking will be required. - Should a class be full, there will be a waitlist and you will be notified when a spot becomes available.
